What is The Thrive Diet?

The Thrive Diet is a book that is available through stores such as Amazon. It sells for around $32 new, but can be purchased used for around $5. This text was written by Brendan Brazier, an Ironman Triathlete. He is also the creator of "Thrive Forward," which is a web series, and he specializes in plant-based nutrition for athletes. The Thrive Diet is 320 pages in length, and it was first released in 2007. Both women and men can follow this diet plan in order to lose weight, lower stress levels, elevate mood, improve mental clarity, boost energy levels, diminish common signs of aging, improve sleep, and reduce junk food cravings.

The Thrive Diet Product Specifics

Put simply, The Thrive Diet is a 12-week eating plan. It emphasizes the importance of whole foods for losing weight, reducing daily stress, and improving overall wellness. This diet plan is also intended to improve immune system health and lower bad cholesterol levels to increase heart health. More than 100 different recipes are provided in this weight loss book, and these recipes are supposed to be easy to make.

So, what foods do you eat on The Thrive Diet? Well, the recommended foods are fresh fruits and vegetables, plant-based foods, nuts, grains, and vegetarian sources of protein. Energy gels, sports drinks, and some supplements are okay as well. This book provides a proven fitness plan to help you get a leaner physique, and get rid of excess body fat.

But, if you like meat, dairy, and the occasional sugary dessert, then this weight loss plan might not be the best choice for you.   1. Ugh, another diet book. And one that wants me to be a vegetarian? Please, this is not my kind of weight loss plan. I need by meat and dairy, especially beef and cheese. I'm gonna have to pass on this diet. The Thrive Diet definitely doesn't let your cravings thrive. lol

  2. I hear you. Many dieters do not waste time reading diet books. Most people trying to lose weight want to get started right away. This means low-calorie meals, weight loss pills, and vigorous exercise regimens. As for the vegetarian aspect of The Thrive Diet, this is certainly not for everyone.

  3. I don't like these types of diets! Too depressing. And I just end up eating more later on. I like the idea of a weight loss pill, but a lot of them contain too much caffeine. Makes me jittery and nauseous. - Kate
